New for 2022: Routing and Siting Workshop

At POWER, we’ve been wanting a place to network and connect with our power delivery, environmental and siting colleagues. The industry has evolved and COVID has changed some aspects of how we work. We’ve missed having opportunities to share best practices and lessons learned.

So, we’re changing that. On Tuesday, March 1, the day before the PDDC Conference kicks off, we’re hosting the Routing and Siting Pre-Conference Workshop: a hands-on event devoted to the ever-shifting challenges of routing and siting transmission lines.

The workshop will be small—around 35 attendees—so space is limited. Registration for workshop-only attendees is $295. If you’re attending PDDC and want to add the workshop, the cost of the workshop is an additional $150, for a total of $645.

Agenda

We’re still formalizing the agenda, but you can plan on:

  • Case studies from across the country outlining key elements for successful siting and permitting
  • Collaborative facilitated exercise to envision innovative solutions to existing and emerging challenges
  • Presentation about public engagement and cutting-edge visualization tools
  • Roundtable discussions about some of the most pressing issues we face today
  • Panel discussion about coordination with federal agencies

We’ll list confirmed presenters soon, so be sure to check back!
